So what’s different about this year?
Heh heh, nothing much really, just the addition of sunscreen into my daily routine. But for your convenience, I decided to update it.
Step 1 is skincare. That’s cleanse, tone, serum (will talk to you about it in a later date, as I’m still testing it out), moisturize and sunscreen. If you need it, do apply some sort of primer, I did!
Step 2: Foundation and eyebrows, followed by loose powder. The foundation looks REALLY REALLY white, but it will settle down and oxidize a little into becoming my skin color. It’s also partially due to the flash, because my neck is also whiter than usual. I set everything using a light dusting of mineral foundation
Step 3: Eyeliner and mascara. Usually, I’d only tightline and line the waterline, but this year I started to line the upper lashlines as well. It makes the cat eye more pronounced, and my eyes rounder, hence bigger, so why not? Do remember to primer your eyes if you have oily lids!
Step 4: Blush and Lipstick/Gloss/Stain. One trick I’ve learnt is NOT to smile when you’re applying blush, because the apples of your cheek will go down if you do not hold the smile. So, apply it to the part that is the perpendicular intersect between your nostrils and the outer corner of the eye. To make it simpler for you, it’s the fleshiest part of your cheeks.
With any luck, you’ll come home hours and hours later with little change to your face!
Back Home: Eyeliner’s not in a mess, and has not creased, foundation has oxidized perfectly to match the skin, of course lippie faded (I hate a pizza lunch heheh) and a hint of blush left. Not bad, considering the only thing I’d touch up would be lipstick!
I hope you lovelies enjoyed this post! My 2nd year of Uni might have already started, and the year ahead will be VERY, VERY busy, but I WILL make time for this blog, I swear!
