FAQ!!

Q:  Where do you live?

A:  I live in a suburb/town known as Subang Jaya near the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Q: What got you into the blogging scene?

A: Inspiration mostly from the blogs I usually stalk (ie, the ones I've listed on the side bar), and some dear friends and family (You know who you are!)

Q:  How did you get all the funding for your, er, stuff?

A:  Well, for the most part, skincare falls under "necessities" so, Mumma Kee "finances" them (What a nice way to say that she buys them for me). But small purchases like drugstore items are usually planned and budgeted. Bigger, department/high end items are usually saved for or taken advantage of sudden availability of cash (ie, angpows [red packets containing money given during Chinese New Year or for other occasions, like birthdays and stuff] or internships!

Q:  How old were you when you started to wear makeup?

A:  Officially, 17. But I was 18 when it started to be a daily thing, when I started college! ^.^

Q:  What are you favorite foods?

A:  Wow, that's a little tough. I like all sorts of stuff so long they are meat and carb-based, let's put it that way!

Q:  What race/ethnicity are you, exactly?

A:  I'm a Chinese girl! Not from China, of course, but am Chinese all the way!

Q:  What is your skincare routine?

A:  Cleanse, tone and moisturize from Clinique's 3 Step routine followed by Sunscreen in the morning. I omit the sunscreen at night. I scrub my face with St Ive's Apricot scrub 3 times a week, with a clay mask every sunday!

Q:  What is your favorite cosmetic, er, item?

A: Eh, I don't know, really! But I can honestly say that I fixate myself on lipsticks, mascara, eyeliners and foundations. ^.^ Those are the things I only wear on days when I go to Uni hehehe!

Q: You say that you're not much of a MAC fan, but how do you know so much about MAC stuff?

A: For some reason, MAC has become somewhat of a "standard" for beauty products, especially cosmetics. People are even describing their foundations shades in MAC terms, so I decided, for the ease of myself and my readers, I'd learn a bit about MAC so that people know what to expect from products of other brands. Anyways, my MAC collection is growing indeed, ehehehe!

(Psst: I joke I always pull with people who have Apple's MacBooks or whatever you call them now. At least you have a Mac laptop/desktop. All I have is MAC's cosmetics!)

Q: What got you onto the blogging scene?

A: It was the exhibitionist in me that made me do it!!! Actually, I was inspired by my dear, dear friend in real life, Esther H. For a long time she was the only reader on my blog, and soon, I met more of you lovelies! My thanks goes to ParisB from Mywomenstuff for her fabulous posts, which I stalk on a daily basis and Sukie from A Little Bit of Everything, Lily from ChloeAsh, and last, but not least, Stephanie C/Yukaeshi from Beaute Fabuleuse for the almost daily Twitter sessions! The all of them really gave me the inspiration to go on, heh heh.

Q: Tell us something about your posts

A: Ah. Well, they're mostly FOTDs because I don't really have the moolah to review everything on the market, being the poor Uni student I am, and with the current lack of readership, no one pretty much pays attention to the blog. I am grateful, however, that I have a few loyal readers (er, who I bug whenver I post something new). It is this lack of outside influence that enables me to tell it as it is, because I really do buy every single thing I've featured here. That is not to say that I do not wish for PR companies to come send me stuff, but for now, I hope that you would not be riled over the lack of product posts. As for my FOTDs, they're everything that strikes my fancy. I've done LOTR locations, looks based on male anime characters, and everything else in between, heh heh. I'm still learning how to put makeup on properly, and I get most of my information from Youtube.
